A pair of antique Chinese architectural corbels hand carved in high relief from Elm wood in a reticulated design using mineral polychrome natural color pigments. The left panel features a monkey, a fu dog and a parrot while the right panel shows a pair of cranes and a mother deer with its fawn. Both panels have a background of pine trees and bamboo incorporating an auspicious design element to these pieces.

The reverse side of each panel has professionally made removable metal mounts that allow for easy hanging and display.

Age: Qing Dynasty 19th Century

Dimensions of each panel: 25 1/2″ High x 21″ Wide x 2.1/4″ Thick
