Description
Antique Japanese cast iron pair of lanterns in the form of a owls. Each with wide eyed expression and great feathered “horns”. These lanterns are made to hold candles, the light escaping through the eyes and many round cast windows in the owls’ bodies.
Age: Taisho Period (early 20th century)
Dimensions: 11 1/2″ high x 7″ wide each
