Description
Antique Japanese rare bronze suiteki water dropper in the form of a fruit or gourd on a vine. The opening in the center of the flower is where the water enters when submerged. The other end of the vine is the dropper. For use by an artist or scholar to make ink when used with ink cake and stone.
Age: Edo Period (1603-1867)
Dimensions: 4 1/8″ high L x 3 1/2″ wide x 1 1/4″ thick
