Antique Kiseruzutsu Pipe Case of Warrior Monk carved with stag antler. Mystical warrior conjuring with scroll gripped in mouth. Skin of stag antler on side, visible. Lovely light creme coloration to Stag antler.
The cord attachment in the form of a vine, its branch functioning as the himotoshi. Case mounted vertically on iron base. Provenance: Prominent Washington collection.
