An extra large stone antique Chinese standing Buddha. The Buddha’s right hand is raised in Abhayamudra (have no fear) and the left in Varadamudra (generosity and compassion). The drapery of his dhoti is carved in the manner of T’ang figures. Beautiful facial features give the commanding presence of the statue a sense of serenity and calm. Traces of polychrome pigment.  Feet rest upon flat stone surface that narrows down to a point. Included a custom fabricated metal base on casters for.
