Japanese Room divider to create privacy in a large room. Carved in detail on both sides. Dragon and tiger are seen together balance together as representing the forces of the universe and the yin to those very forces.
On the flip side, three well carved heavenly flying apsaras are symbolized. Amounts the clouds, each angel is depicted holding there own instrument, sho flute, drum, biwa (four-stringed lute with a short neck) floating above blooming peonies.

Age: Late Meiji period (1868 – 1912)
