Description

Korean antique jang chest-on-chest with stand, originally made for storing folded clothing, two large compartments with smaller openings, each with double doors, a row of four small drawer along the top originally used for storing clothing accessories, on wooden base, made with pine wood, door of top section have mirrors etched with flowers, bottom section has scene of birds and flowers inlaid with mother of pearl, hardware is made of chase brass (silver color) and includes butterfly shaped drawer pulls and elaborate hinges and latch plates, circa early 20th century.
Size; 54″ high x 36 3/4″ wide x 16 1/4″ deep.
