Small bronze incensor of the Japanese god Daikoku “magic money mallet”, or Uchide no kozuchi. He is associated with wealth and prosperity and is commonly portrayed seated upon bales of rice surrounded by mice, which symbolize plentiful food. The mouse seated upon the mallet is actually a removable lid. Taisho period (1912-1925)

Size: 4.5″ tall, 6.5″ long
