Description

An antique Chinese red brocade panel decorated with auspicious motifs. In the central section, the brocade is decorated with repeating pattern of children where one is holding a musical instrument known as a sheng and the other is holding a toy-like object. The top and bottom panels are decorated with motifs of dragons and phoenixes set within a geometric border. Age: 19th century Size: height 66″ width 28″
