Description

Antique Chinese porcelain container with paintings of children playing in a garden. Each child holds different items, such as a lantern, a staff, lily pads with lotuses, a paintbrush and an ink pot, and they wear beautiful robes in light shades of blue, pink, purple, and green that are quite pleasing to the eye. The lid is painted with pomegranates and peaches and is topped with two peaches with six leaves sticking out, making it look like a cute insect. The bottom of the container bears the mark of Qing Jiaqing.
