Antique Chinese inlaid lacquered hexagonal box on a stand. The box is from the late 18th century, the stand is an early 20th century addition. It is inlaid with mother of pearl in a floral pattern. The lid has a landscape scene with mountains. The inside of the lid has a small scrolling flower inlaid with mother of pearl. The front has a bronze bat under the lock. Above the lock is a hinged roundel with a chinese character that has been hammered on. It measures 14.5″ long 20″ tall with stand, 10.5″ without base, 10.25″ deep.
