Antique Kiseruzutsu or Pipe Case with Cover, samurai with pole approaching snake in tree branch, top of village scene. The cord attachment in the form of a vine, its branch functioning as the himotoshi. Case mounted vertically on iron base. Provenance: Prominent Washington collection.
