Antique Japanese scroll painting of blossoming morning glories on a vine. painted in vibrant mineral colors on silk. Signed by the artist. “Kido Son, 貴堂草衣, (1899-1984) was born in Kyoto. He studied painting at the Kyoto Municipal School of Painting and under Yamamoto Shunkyo (1871-1933). His work was consistently accepted into the Teiten and Bunten National art exhibitions.” Comes with original double box.
